Welcome to our first edition of Letters from the Ranch!

Dear friends,

Welcome to the very first edition of Letters from the Ranch. This is a newsletter series that will go out every Tuesday with stories from the ranch, insights, and behind the scenes. Written by me, Angela, the founder of Caprine.

Here at the ranch, we have been busy with more fencing, gardening, and keeping the goats happy. I love watching the goat kids run around playing and coming up for some love. The mohair crop is looking fantastic and will be shorn in a couple months. It is growing so silky and lustrous and I am so excited to get it turned into more socks and throws!

We had a good amount of rain last week, which has done wonders for the pastures. With everything so lush and green, we’ve been sneaking in a few impromptu photoshoots. Golden hour here, with the mountains in the background, is pure magic. If you’re on Instagram or Facebook, come see what we’ve been sharing lately @shopcaprine.

We're doing our best to keep our social posts real and rooted in the everyday. While we love sharing the beauty, we also want to show the behind-the-scenes moments that truly reflect life here. It matters to me that you see the real, authentic side of Caprine. When we step outside, we are really on the ranch, with all the smells, sights, and sounds. The magic that happens here isn’t done in an office building with a marketing firm. When we say “from the ranch,” we mean it.  I am really writing this, and I still have dirt on my knees from weeding the garden this morning.

With love,
Angela
