Labor Day, Hiking, and the Importance of Shopping Small

Labor Day, Hiking, and the Importance of Shopping Small

Dear friends,

Yesterday we celebrated the labor of American workers! Some of you rested, some worked. We did a little of both. There are no real days off when raising animals, but after chores we slipped away for a 10-mile hike to a high mountain lake. I’m definitely feeling it today!

In honor of Labor Day, we held a cozy sale, and I want to thank everyone who ordered and shared it with others. We don’t run sales often, so I’m glad some of you could join in.

As a small business, we don’t have the profit margins of big corporations. But that’s the beauty of staying small. I know exactly how our mohair is raised, how our yarn is spun, and who knits and weaves for us.

Small businesses are the steady backbone of America. We create with integrity and raise our goats with love and respect. That’s what makes our mohair socks and throws truly special.

As we head into the cozy 'ber months, when you pull on those soft socks or wrap up in a cozy throw, know you’re supporting not just a product but a family business that is deeply thankful.

With love,
Angela
